The period of economic recession, which Brazil has faced for 11 consecutive quarters, is hopefully lagging behind. Some positive signs begin to appear in the economy,  raising cautious optimism in the Ministry od Finance, where high level authorities already estimate that Brazil will be growing at 2% in the last quarter of 2017, in comparison to the same quarter of 2016.
Amont the positive signs seen by the economic team are: a probable record crop; normalization in the inventories of auto industry; increasing consumption of non-durable goods; increase or prices of commodities in the international market (particularly for iron ore) and the perspective of growing of civil construction.
