BM&FBOVESPA with better result in 2016

In 2016, BM&FBOVESPA – Brazil’s largest exchange – reported total revenues of R$2.57 billion ($831 million), representing an increase of 4.8 percent year-on-year from R$2.45 billion ($792 million) in 2015. Considering exclusively revenues from trading, clearing and settlement ( the segment of BM&F) however, the figure in 2016  is a little bit more modest: $1.05 billion ($339 million), a decrease of 2.2 percent year-on-year from R$1.07 billion ($347 million) by the end of the 2015 fiscal year.
