Third week of February has trade surplus of $ 1,2 nillion

In the year, up to the third week of February, Brazil obtained a positive trade balance of $ 5.14 billion, an increase of 85.3% over the same period of 2016

In the third week of the month, the trade surplus reached $ 1.249 billion, with exports of $ 4,274 million and imports of $ 3,025 billion.  During the period, average exports reached US $ 854.8 million – 12% up to the second week of February (US $ 763.5 million). There was a 40.1% increase in raw material exports, which incude crude oil, soybean, iron ore, beef and aluminum ore. Semi-manufactured shipments had a  9.4% hike and manufactures fell by 8.7%.
