Ms. Rousseff’s former minister of Justice: some laws are not to be obeyed?

 Former Minister of Justice during Dilma Rousseff’s administration (and former Secretary-General of the Workers’ Party), Mr. Jose Eduardo Cardozo said on Monday (March 13) morning that the practice of  “off-book accounting” in electoral campaigns is a recurrent and historical fact in Brazil, so it had to be dissociated from other crimes such as corruption and money laundering.
Mr. Cardozo said that when testifiyng as defense witness of former minister Antonio Palocci (also from Workers’ Party), accused in a process on favoring Odebrecht on some Petrobras contracts. Mr. Cardozo tried to convince the court that dealing with money from “off the book” accounting is not exactly the same with corruption money, (Source: Brazilian newsagencies)
