Brazilian fishery products present at the International Boston Sea Food Show

The Ministry of Agriculture and the Ministy of External Relations  will be present at the International Boston Seafood Show, Seafood Expo North America in Boston, Tuesday ( March 21).

Brazil will have a pavilion which will house 26 companies and three sector entities, that will promote 19 species of fishery products (ariac, tuna, pink shrimp, mackerel, coriander, corvina, chub, gurijuba, lobster, crayfish, meka, oysters, snapper, swordfish, frog fish, yellow hake, white hake, octopus and Sardine) and five species of aquaculture (pacu, painted, pirarucu, tambaqui and tilapia).

 

Last year, Brazil exported US $ 236 million, about 39.6 thousand tons of fish. The United States was the main destination of Brazilian fish, with US $ 99.1 million in value (41.98%) and 12.7 thousand tons in volume (32.03%).
