The new Minister of Justice  Osmar Serraglio had a conversation caught in a telephone tapping of the Federal Police investigation triggered on Friday (March 17) to curb illegal marketing of meat by slaughterhouses, including the largest national groups in the sector. Police investigates if there had payment of bribe to  Ministry of Agriculture’s meat inspectors.

A dialogue was intercepted between Serraglio, when he was  federal representative  and the former federal superintendent of Agriculture of Paraná, Daniel Gonçalves Filho, described by the PF as “leader of the criminal organization”.

Serraglio, who calls the public servant  as “the great chief,” requests Mr. Gonçalves Filho to inquire about a supervision at Larissa’s refrigerator in Iporã, in the interior of the state of Paraná, after being sought by a certain “Paulo” – whom PF identifies as Paulo Rogério Sposito, who owns the fridge Larissa.
