The former governor of the state of Ceará and former minister of National Integration (Lula administration) Ciro Gomes (PDT) – who is considered as a presidencial pre-candidate in 2018 elections – recorded a video in which he challenges Judge Sérgio Moro. He said if it happened if the judge came to arrest him, and he had done anythring wrong,”I would receive with bullets”. The statements were made in an interview with the newspaper GGN on the day the Federal Police detained blogger Eduardo Guimarães, who edited the website Blog da Cidadania.
“Today Moro has decided to arrest a blogger, if he has me to be arrested I would receive him and his gang with bullets,” says the Mr. Gomes in the video that circulated on the weekend on social media.
In another part of the interview, Mr. Gomes criticized the task force coordinator of Operation Lava-Jato in Curitiba, Attorney Deltan Dallagnol, on the grounds of the possible indictment of former President Lula.
