A new Ibope poll released on Friday (March 31) indicated that the popularity of President Michel Temer felt from 13 percent in December to just 10 percent now. The disapproval rate that was at 45 percent in December increased to 55 percent. Ibope interviewed 2,000 people being the poll’s margin of error of 2 percentage points.
It is with this negative public opinion rate that President Temer will face in the next few days a new huge challenge to his administration. The Supreme Electoral Court will start Monday or Tuesday ( 3 or 4th of April) the process which will decide whether the ticket that elected Temer and former President Dilma Rousseff in 2014 should be annulled due to allegedly illegal campaign financing. If the court decides positively, it could lead to the presidents’ removal.
