More than 60 business executives participated on Monday (Oct. 23) in a business roundtable held in Brasilia by the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Supply in partnership with the Embassy of the United Arab Emirates.
The event is part of the Brazil-United Arab Emirates Agribusiness Investor Road Show. It was designed to bring Brazilians and Arabs together, and is expected to lead to future deals.
The Emirati mission arranged by Abu Dhabi’s Food Security Center is currently in Brazil for several visits and meetings targeting the agriculture and livestock industry.
From Brasília, the group of twelve UAE businessmen will head to Cuiaba, capital of Mato Grosso state where they’ll meet with governor Pedro Taques, as well as visit agricultural companies including Amaggi and Grupo Bom Futuro. They’ll keep appointments over three days in the state before moving on to São Paulo, where they are scheduled to pay visits to local authorities.
