Executive Mark Moody-Stuart was Shell’s CEO from 1998 to 2001, when the company faced a serious reputational crisis. Now, he wants to help save Odebrecht, a company which setted up one of the biggest pay schemes ever seen in the world.
Moody-Stuart is now a member the Global Board, a group newly created by Obebrecht to assist in its restructuring. In an interview with the newspaper O Estado de São Paulo, he said that Odebrecht will recover, but it will take time. “It’s a bit like Alcoholics Anonymous, which has a ten-step program.”
