Brazil’s attorney general, Raquel Dodge, on Friday (Nov.24) asked the Supreme Federal Court (STF) to convict Senator Gleisi Hoffmann (chairwoman of the Workers’ Party) and her husband, former minister Paulo Bernardo (Planning) for passive corruption and money laundering.

In final arguments to the Court – in the context of a criminal suit in which the senator is accused of receiving  bribes in the corruption scheme set up at Petrobras-  the head of the Attorney General’s Office asks for a fine of around US$ 1.2 million.
