Brazil’s IPOs on rise: US$4.4 billion in 2017, second highest mark ever

Brazilian companies expect to conclude deals up to 14.2 billion reais ( cerca de $4.4 billion) worth of initial public equity offerings (IPOs) up to the end of 2017.

Top IPO’s in line are: Burger King-Brasil, Petrobras’s BR Distribuidora, Neoenergia AS and   Iberdrola SA.

If such deals are concluded, IPOs in Brazil would reach around 25 bilhões de reais this year, second highest ever (the highest mark was obtained in 2007: around 50 million reais).

The IPO line for 2018 includes Ri Happy, Centauro, Banco Inter, Blau (farmacêutica) e Algar Telecom.
