Peruvian Congressman Israel Lazo held a working meeting with Brazilian Ambassador in Lima, Marcos Raposo Lopes, with the objective of seeking cooperation and exchange of experiences to strengthen a bill proposing the creation and implementation of the first Science and Technology Park of Central Peru, according to local newspaper El Correo.
“The Scientific and Technological Park is of regional and national interest, as it will allow to form techonological-oriented companies, that will add value to the natural and productive resources of the region”, said the parliamentarian from Junin.
– We are looking for strategic allies to ensure this park becomes a reality. Our Brazilian friends will support our initiative, as they have one of the most efficient and sustainable agriculture in the planet, an experience they want to share,
Also participated at the meeting the vice–rector of Research of the UNCP, Delia Gamarra Gamarra. Ambassador Rapose Lopes showed interest in the initiative and pledged to support the creation of the Science Park.
