Time is getting short, but the Government is confident that up to next week it will get Congress’ approval of one of Michel Temer’s administration main projects in 2017: the pension reform.
The matter will be initially examined by the House of Representatives on December 13 (Wednesday next week), what will give time to Temer to obtain the supporting votes that may be needing to approve the bill.
On Sunday(Dec.3), in Brasilia, President Michel Temer met with leaders of the parties that integrate the government’s support base. At the occasion, he said he will not accept appeals of corporative nature to modify the bill.
It was decided that the leaders of the supporting parties parties will make this week survey about expected votes in their benches.
