SIAVS expands commercial internationalization during IPPE 2018

Over 20 companies closed in Atlanta participation in SIAVS 2019



Successfully the action has been completed taken by the organization of the International Exhibition of Poultry and Swine (SIAVS) during the International Production & Processing Expo (PSPI), held last week in Atlanta (USA). Information is the Brazilian Animal Protein Association (ABPA), organizer of the Brazilian event.

According to ABPA, only during the four days of PSPI, more than 20 companies closed space purchase agreement for the next edition of SIAVS, scheduled between 27 and 29 August 2019, at Parque Anhembi, in São Paulo (SP).

“The success of SIAVS 2017 crossed borders and has yielded excellent results for the next edition. Virtually the entire area initially offered for sale has been sold, indicating the need to expand the fair in the previous edition, “said Francisco Turra, CEO of ABPA.

Biggest event of poultry and pork meat in Brazil, SIAVS set records in 2017. A total of 15,300 visitors from 51 countries attended the event, including producers, presidents and company directors, purchasing managers, technicians and other players industry. About 150 exhibitors were present in more than 15 thousand square meters of shopping area.

One of the highlights of SIAVS, the presence of 31 agribusiness producers and processors of poultry, pork and eggs generated only during the $ 19 million event in international business. From the contacts made at the fair, the agribusiness sector project the feasibility of US $ 173 million in sales in 12 months.

The event also counted with the presence of more than 1400 poultry and pig farmers through the Farmer Project, a pioneering initiative of ABPA in order to encourage good production practices.

Hosting, too, with most programming industry talks, the SIAVS was attended more than 100 speakers and 1 700 participants.
