Airline Norwegian Air was authorized by the National Civil Aviation Agency (ANAC) to operate international flights between Brazil and Europe. The company is the third largest among the low-cost airlines operating on the European continent, known as “low cost.”
This is the first company with this profile authorized to operate regular flights in Brazil. The authorization was published on Tuesday (8) in the Federal Official Gazette (DOU).
As the Globo newspaper explains, the company can now register the routes it plans to operate and start selling air ticket.
The expectation of the air market is that Norwegian start its operation with a flight between São Paulo or Rio de Janeiro and London.
