ABPA Part in Web Series To Promote the Brazilian Chicken Meat

Reality Show with French chefs aims to export Brazilian products

Ricardo Santin executive director of the Brazilian Animal Protein Association (ABPA), yesterday made a cameo in an episode of the web series “Coxinha Brésiliene – Le Défi” in partnership with the Brazilian Export and Investment Promotion (Apex-Brazil) to promote chicken meat in the international market.

To attract international attention to the Brazilian chicken, one of the actions taken at the International Salon de l’Alimentation (SIAL) in Paris, was a competition in the reality show format, among chefs of French food trucks to prepare the traditional Brazilian coxinha.

Santin received the winners of Coxinha Challenge in Mercadão of Sao Paulo, on November 12 to continue the recordings of the upcoming episodes. On this day, the association’s executive director talked about the excellence of Brazilian products to the participants of the web series, which were also presented with the book “From our table your table” (From our table to your table).

The goal of the action is to reach France and other European countries such as the UK and Germany. “The participation of ABPA this strategic action is to communicate with the international market and highlight the quality of Brazilian chicken meat which is exported to over 160 countries,” says Santin.

The webseries can be conferred on the Fanpage of Apex-Brazil (facebook.com/apexbrasil) and youtube channel Be Brazil by Apex-Brazil. The episode with the participation of Ricardo Santin will air during the last week of November.
