Arabica coffee futures contracts on the New York Stock Exchange (ICE Futures US) are treading lightly on Monday morning (19). The outside grain market is technically comfortable with gains from the last session of more than 200 points but continues to work at about $1.10 a pound.
At 9:27 AM, the December / 18 maturity was down 45 points at 112.15 cents/lb and March / 19 was down 30 points at 116.00 cents/lb. The May / 19 contract had 118.80 cents / lb and 30 points of losses, and July / 19 had a 15-point devaluation of 121.60 cents/lb.
In Brazil, at the last closing, the hard type 6 was traded at R$440.00 a bag of 60 kg in Espirito Santo do Pinhal, in Guaxupé (MG) prices, were quoted at R $440.00 a bag and in Pocos de Caldas (MG) were worth R $425.00.
