Lower House Trying Again Vote of Foreign Capital Release on Airlines

The full House tries to vote on Wednesday Dec. 5th a Bill Project # 2724/2015, raising the share of foreign capital with voting rights on the Brazilian air transport companies. The vote of this project, however, will depend on the decision of two provisional measures that are locking the agenda of the House.

Already the CVT (Traffic and Transport Committee) held on Tuesday public hearing to discuss the National Reduce Deaths and Injuries in Traffic Plan. The debate was requested by Mr Hugo Leal and Milton Monti. They were attended by the director general of the Federal Highway Police, Renato Borges; and the president of the National Forum of State Traffic Councils, Horace Mello.

Also yesterday, another meeting to vote on the Bill Project # 1292/95, which deals with the new law of bidding was canceled. The rapporteur Joao Arruda said it has agreed to vote on the text, but the college is unable to obtain a quorum and, since last week, meetings are being canceled even before the panel is open to register the presence of parliamentarians.

Members Leonardo Quintao and Carlos Manato were officially announced as responsible for dialogue with the Brazilian Congress, from next year. They who were not reelected, will be linked to a secretariat directly linked to the Civil House. Quintão will be responsible for articulating with the Senate and Manato with the Chamber.

The Party of the Republic, which currently controls the Ministry of Transport, will meet today with the President-elect Jair Bolsonaro. According to the acronym of the leader in the House, Jose Rocha, the counter wants to hear first Bolsonaro what he has to say. But said it does not intend to indicated any ministry or regulatory agency.
