Coffee: Futures Contract Arabica Trades at Close to 100 Pts this Morning Monday in NY

Arabica coffee Futures Contract on the New York Stock Exchange (ICE Futures US) are trading close to 100 points this morning on Monday, Dec. 17th. The foreign grain market is technically comfortable with last Friday’s losses (14). In addition, the exchange rate should also move prices throughout the day.

At 9:19 am, the March 2019 maturity was up 80 basis points at 103.05 cents/lb and May 2019 was at 106.45 cents/lb with a gain of 105 points. The July 2019 contract was up 90 points at 109.00 cents/lb and September 2019 was up 105 points at 111.90 cents/lb.

In Brazil, at the last closing, hard type 6 was traded at R$ 420.00 a bag of 60 kg in Espírito Santo do Pinhal (SP), in Guaxupé (MG) prices were quoted at R$ 428.00 a bag and in Poços de Caldas (MG) was worth R$ 405.00.
