The letter was delivered yesterday Jan. 2nd to Bolsonaro by the special envoy of Chinese President Ji Bingxuan, according to the Chinese Embassy in Brasilia
Chinese President Xi Jinping has sent a letter to President Jair Bolsonaro saying he is willing to work with the new Brazilian government to develop the two countries’ economies, safeguard world peace and conduct “pragmatic” bilateral cooperation. He also wanted happiness in the government.
In the letter, the Chinese president said that since the establishment of relations between China and Brazil 44 years ago, the “ties between the two countries have withstood international scenarios and have developed in a holistic and profound way.”
According to the Chinese president, the basis of such good relations of the principle of mutual respect. Xi Jinping said he appreciated the statement made by Jair Bolsonaro, shortly after winning the elections, that China is a major partner in cooperation with Brazil.
The Chinese president also said he is willing to make joint efforts with President Bolsonaro to respect the central interests of each country and develop a long-term strategic perspective.
The letter was delivered to Bolsonaro by the special envoy of Chinese President Ji Bingxuan, the Chinese Embassy in Brasilia said on Thursday. Ji Bingxuan is deputy chairman of the National People’s Congress Committee and took part in the inauguration ceremony of the President of the Republic two days ago.
