Brazil’s oil output in November fell 1.8 percent from October and 1.1 percent year-on-year to 2.567 million barrels a day due to maintenance shutdowns, Thursday the sector’s regulatory agency, the ANP.

Brazil’s natural gas production in November fell 4 percent from October and 0.9 percent year-on-year, to 112 million cubic meters/day, according to the ANP.

Thus, oil and gas production in Brazil in November was 3,274 million barrels of oil equivalent per day, a reduction of 2.3 percent in relation to the previous month, mainly due to maintenance stops at the FPSO Cidade de Ilhabela , in the field of Sapinhoá (Santos Basin) and platforms P-18 and P-37, in the field of Marlim (Campos Basin).
