The savings account posted a net inflow of $ 14.607 billion in December, the largest monthly net inflow since the same month of 2017 (19.373 billion reais), according to data released by the Central Bank on Monday.
In the year, savings recorded capitation of 38.260 billion reais, the highest annual result since the net balance of 71.048 billion reais accumulated in the whole of 2013. By 2017, savings had had net funding of 17.127 billion reais.
In December, the balance was the result of contributions of 223.321 billion reais minus redemption of 208.714 billion reais. In the year, tickets totaled 2,253 trillion reais and outflows, 2,214 trillion.
In December, deposits outpaced withdrawals of 12.22 billion reais in the Brazilian Savings and Loan System (SBPE). In the rural savings, after a month of exit, there was an entrance of 2,387 billions of Reals.
Throughout the year, net funding in the SBPE was 27.791 billion and, in rural savings, 10.469 billion reais.
