Soybean prices rise on Wednesday (23) on the Chicago Stock Exchange. Around 8:00 am, prices rose slightly more than 3 points in the main maturities, with March/19 being $ 9.13 a bushel. May/19, which is an important reference for prices in Brazil, has US $ 9.26.
The market recovers part of the small casualties recorded in the previous session, with the market still suffering from the lack of data and direction.
“Comments that the US were rejecting China’s proposals came to press, but the crop failure in Brazil and Argentina and rumors that China can buy more US soybeans prevent larger falls,” explains Cerealpar director Steve Cachia.
