São Paulo, February 6, 2019 – Francisco Turra, president of the Brazilian Animal Protein Association (ABPA), the executive director, Ricardo Santin and technical director Rui Vargas, met today with the Vice President of the National Pork Producers Council (NPPC), Nicholas Giordano, at the headquarters of ABPA in São Paulo (SP).
During the meeting, the representatives of ABPA debated partnerships for the development of the international swine.
“We stress the importance of building a global entity for the pig sector, an issue that is already in the working agenda of ABPA with the Interporc, Spain. It is essentially a global alliance to gain strength and coordination across the issues that affect all producers, such as health issues, “says Turra.
At the time, the directors of ABPA made a formal invitation to NPPC members to participate d the International Exhibition of Poultry and Swine (SIAVS), the largest and most important political and commercial event of the sectors in the country, which will be held from 27 to August 29th, at Parque Anhembi, in São Paulo (SP).
“In this spirit of interaction with international productive sectors, SIAVS plays a decisive role, integrating producers in Brazil and dozens of producer countries to exchange information and build joint solutions,“ says the president of ABPA.
