President Jair Bolsonaro said this Tuesday in Foz do Iguacu that the Pension Reform proposal could be improved and said he was sure that Parliament would make corrections.
“I have no doubt that Parliament will make the corrections that have to be made that, after all, we are not perfect and this proposal has to be improved,“ he said in an interview after the new board of directors of the Itaipu Hydroelectric Plant.
The government sent Congress last week the proposed Pension Reform with points considered very hard by many of the parliamentarians, who already want changes.
On Tuesday, the president receives party leaders for the first time for a meeting, focusing on Pension Reform.
“But most of all we rely on the patriotism and the understanding of the Parliament so that we can actually do the Pension Reform because otherwise our country is doomed to failure,“ appealed Bolsonaro in his speech in Foz.
