Successfully finished the action organized by the Brazilian Association of Animal Protein (ABPA), in partnership with the Brazilian Export and Investment Promotion (Apex-Brazil) at Gulfood Dubai 2019, the largest fair Middle Eastern food. Closed last Thursday (21), the participation of Brazilian exporters of poultry and eggs generated more than $660 in business projections for the next 12 months.
Only the five days of the fair, the sixteen agribusinesses who participated in the ABPA action in the space of animal protein in Dubai held US$ 40.2 million in business, with exports of poultry meat and eggs to the Middle East, Eastern Europe and Asia.
In addition to generating effective business for the productive sector, the action at Gulfood sought to strengthen the perception of the quality of Brazilian products to customers and potential Arab importers. For that, they distributed promotional materials with information about the Brazilian productive system, the differential of products and brands and contacts of exporting companies.
At the same time, a great tasting was held during the event. More than 4000 shawarmas and almost 2000 omelets were served to visitors at Gulfood space ABPA.

We have a long relationship with the halal market, and the action in Dubai allowed to make this partnership even stronger, “says Francisco Turra, president of ABPA.
