Governor Joao Doria Confirms the Presence at SIAVS 2019

The Governor of the State of Sao Paulo, Joao Doria, is attending the opening ceremony of the International Exhibition of Poultry and Swine (SIAVS), scheduled for August 27 at the Anhembi Park Convention Palace in São Paulo (SP).

Joao Doria received yesterday, Apr. 17th the president of the Brazilian Animal Protein Association (ABPA), Francisco Turra, which promotes SIAVS – main trade show, technical and political sectors in Brazil. With him were board members and the association councils as advisory board chairman, Carlos José Zanchetta, and the president of the Paulista Poultry Association (APA), Eric Pozzer.

During the meeting, representatives of ABPA treated the viability of investments in the productive sector in the state, and points relating to sectoral competitiveness with impacts in São Paulo and Brazil.

About SIAVS, Turra and the Sao Paulo governor solemnly defined the details and state participation in the event, which attracts thousands of technicians and producers of poultry, pork and eggs from all over Brazil.

“The SIAVS is renewed every issue and in 2019 we want to incorporate a more focused agenda. Under this principle, we have structured an executive staff with several points related to the image, competitiveness, health status and other sectoral demands. The insights built this meeting with the Governor Doria will be the foundation structure of the agenda, “said Turra.

About SIAVS – Main national event calendar of poultry and pig farming, the SIAVS attracted in its last edition more than 15,000 visitors from 51 countries.

Around 1.7 thousand participants took part in a major agribusiness schedules conferences. The Producer Project, exclusive initiative of SIAVS facing the poultry and pig farmers, attracted 1 400 producers at Anhembi Park.

About 150 companies exhibited their products and solutions at the largest fair in poultry and pig farming in Brazil. In all, 31 agribusinesses exporting poultry, eggs and pigs attended the event, in meetings with importers, the domestic buyers and suppliers.
