The balance of incoming and outgoing dollars of the country was positive in May. The inflows surpassed the exits by US $346 million, reported today (5), the Central Bank (BC).
In May, the financial flow – investments in securities, remittances of profits and dividends abroad and foreign direct investments, among other operations – recorded a negative balance of US $1.149 billion and the commercial (foreign exchange operations related to exports and imports) had a balance positive of US $1.495 billion.
From January to May, the balance was positive at US $3.164 billion. The financial flow recorded a negative balance of US $ 6.893 billion and the trade was positive at US $10.057 billion.
